Our guest this month was Alan Truman who demonstrated the production of an octagonal bowl and a heart shaped shallow dish. Alan's key message was one of safety first as with both examples there were many fast moving corners hell bent on digital damage!
Guest member Paul Bellamy (Mid Staffs. Woodturners) was able to give a live demonstration of the bullet cameras he brought along last month and on this occasion was able to use a projector and screen.
April Meeting
Guest Alan Truman commences production of an octagonal bowl.
Members were able to see his work in detail on the big screen.
Base of bowl nearing completion.
Use of the bullet cameras and screen means that no matter where you sit in the audience you are guaranteed a good view. We just need to modify the hall lighting now!!
Heart shaped blank mounted for second demonstration.
